Students in the lab will all be taking the SBAC Practice Test in the lab.
Each grade level has projects they are working on and we continue to work on keyboarding every other week. This quarter I will be having several math days that will give grade levels some choice on what math they want to practice on various sites.   We will also have some theme weeks.  One such week will be a choice of Brain POP or Discovery Education.  Students will be choosing a topic from class to investigate.  I plan to do this at least once a quarter.  Second Grade having finished their letters, will now be working on their math skills.  We will practice them each week to reinforce classroom learning.  2nd graders will also log on to their Google accounts and learn how to use calendar, and then paragraph writing on Google. Third Grade will also learn how to use Google Drive.  We will also work with word and make some labels!  Third Grade will also use Tween Tribune Jr.  In here they will be reading current articles, giving opinions, and practicing common core skills.   Fourth Grade will be finishing their rock powerpoints and then begin to study electricity and magnets.  They will also learn how to create a flyer/poster in word. Fifth Grade will be working on website creation with Protopage.  They can choose themes or just make a site for themselves. They will also create a card in Word.    Sixth Grade is going to create resumes, and work on Weebly Websites and Blogs, along with journals on their Google accounts.
